The event which inspired my design for a 1974 calendar was the invention of the Rubik's Cube. Due the interactive element of the Rubik's cube, I decided to design a calendar which involved the viewer to interact and 'solve' the structure. My final design was in the form of a flat pack... three A3 sheets; the outside and inside of the cube, and the monthly calendars. It also includes an introduction on the year and instructions on how to construct the Rubik's Cube calendar.
